Popular Science Group
Book group with a difference, for those with an interest in science: unlike other groups we don't all read the same book. Instead, we meet once a month to talk about any books we've read that can be classified as science, however loosely. These can range from geology to economics, biography to nature writing, Stephen Hawkins (Brief History Of Time) to Adam Kay (This Is Going To Hurt). New members welcome, this is the last meeting of 2021. Ask in the library for details

Our final session before Christmas. Meditation Huddersfield are pleased to re-launch this weekly group event. Step-by-step instructions in simple meditation techniques, from the Modern Buddhist Tradition. Suitable for beginners, open to everyone & no need to book. Pay £6 fee to the organiser; concessions available.
